Guidelines for Assessment and Accountability in Higher Education
Are students learning? Colleges and universities should expect to hear this question more often and more forcefully. They must act to ensure that their college degrees reflect a high level of student achievement — and to reaffirm the quality of these credentials. They can do so by gathering, using, and publicly reporting evidence of student learning.
Committing to Quality: Guidelines for Assessment and Accountability gives colleges strategies they can use to take these critical steps. It has been endorsed by endorsed by 27 national higher education organizations.
