Committing to Quality

Are students learning? Colleges and universities should expect to hear this question more often and more forcefully. They must act to ensure that their college degrees reflect a high level of student achievement — and to reaffirm the quality of these credentials. They can do so by gathering, using, and publicly reporting evidence of student learning.

Committing to Quality: Guidelines for Assessment and Accountability in Higher Education gives colleges a framework they can use to take these critical steps. It has been endorsed by 39 national higher education organizations.
